Toxicity and Metamorphsis came across a Hare that has ended up in the Shallows somehow. Weather it was chased by a predator, or fell in by accident, neither could say. But leaving the poor thing to freeze in the winter waters was never an option, so Toxicity carefully fishes the poor thing out with his tail. Carefully, as he doesn't want to frigten it more!
After this makeshift rescue, Toxcity would take the Hare somewhere warm to dry off, and carfully moniter it's health. During this time they'd become bonded, and Toxcity would end up with his first familair!
