Ares' Right Hand
Merchandise is a Kiji who one would compare much to a dog in the way they play around, and to a raccoon in their tricky behavior. They are a playful and young spirited Kiji who loves playing pranks much like many other Kiji, despite their tough appearance to those who can see them.
Merchandise gets fairly excited at even small things, ending up getting into trouble quite often because of the fact. They don't mind the trouble, as they enjoy the attention. It gets lonely often so Dice compensates by messing around to get attention. Many see them as a 'class clown' because of this.

Story
Kiji who were around for Dice's summoning said the first thing they did upon being summoned was to bound around like a puppy being adopted. The maroon Kiji immediately headed out and started to burn off excess energy, eventually joining other Kiji in their activities. Unfortunately Dice got bored fairly easy so was a pain to work with as they pulled pranks even on other prank-loving Kiji. Not many appreciated this behavior and eventually they sent Dice off on their own. This happened several times before Dice got frustrated and stopped attempting to join others, getting lonely as they turned to those that couldn't see them for their pranks.

On day, they came across a man named Ares and was curious of what the human was doing picking up all these random items and collecting them in their cart. They decided to play around with the man, who had no idea of the Kiji. At first it was just small things, like startling the mule or licking him while he slept. Eventually the Kiji started to 'misplace' items for Ares, from those in his cart to his own clothes while he took a bath in a river. Ares was getting upset at the pranks, but contributed it to bad luck or a spirit as it persisted.
Eventually Ares learned of Dice's presence through the priestess Vault as the two one day happened upon each other. Dice watched in curiosity as the two talked about the problems Ares had had, and Vault sharing the Kiji's existence with the man, including Dice's. Dice was worried, worried that they were now going to have to leave again. They figured once Ares knew what was causing the pranks, Ares would shoo the Kiji off.
Instead of being mad at the Kiji, however, the man laughed it off, seeming happy that there was a reason for all the pranks instead of it being something worse. Ares was glad to know the reason, and not upset at Dice in the least. Instead, Ares wanted to get to know the Kiji, a creature he couldn't see or communicate with.

Dice was fascinated, and very happy they weren't shooed off once again. The two formed a partnership after a while, learning to communicate with each other in a basic sense. Dice helps Ares deal with Kiji clientele happily now, being a 'middle man' between his new friend Ares and other Kiji.
Dice still likes to play pranks though.
