Vault Seer of the Kiji
Vault is a sweet, human woman, with the ability to see auras and energy. Her gentle demeanor causes all manner of creatures to approach her without hostility, and as a result she is often seen interacting with them. This causes her to be seen as the wise fairy woman by Kiji, and she will always accept them with open arms and give them guidance whenever they request for it.
She often speaks softly, and uses her energy and song to reach others. Animals cannot understand the words of humans, thus she has learned to speak through intent and action, as she wishes to be in harmony with those around her to follow her values as a priestess.
Sadly, she is often scorned and misunderstood by other humanoids that cannot see Kiji or understand her methods, resulting in her self isolation to most humanity. Many see her as someone with a few screws loose, and the more aggressive ones sometimes call her a witch. This rumor makes many people wary of her if they don't know her.

Story
Vault was born during a time of peace in a small village. The history of the current world had been mostly lost, and most humans were of mixed blood. Her village was a nomadic tribe of humans, moving from place to place with each other. They held no scorn for other races, and were quite friendly. Each person in the village had their role, the young men and women in her clan were strong warriors who protected the villagers from monsters and bandits, while elders passed on stories, taught crafts, and took on apprentices.

Vault always had a strong affinity to energy and even from birth was able to sense magic. Her parents and the elders quickly noticed this, and how she was loved by the animals they had. Even passerbys noted her strong affinity towards familiars and magic. It was a natural gift.
One of the elders immediately took her under his wing once she was old enough, training her to be a priestess. He taught her the values of life, the history of the world, and of the magic that flowed through the air and plants. He taught her of magic and auras, how to read people and creatures, understand body language and intent, and most importantly how to make textiles and meditate. By the time she became a young adult, she'd already mastered becoming a fully fledged priestess.
As she became an adult she left the village in search of her own path, helping those in need along the way. Though she was accepted at first, by the time she settled down people started noticing her weird quirks and odd habits. She found comfort in nature more than in the towns, and enjoyed spending time with the animals who hung around and kept her company.

She now lives in a small house on the outskirts of a forest. Kiji and other animals visit often, coming and going as they please. However, even with her constant visitors, she's always felt lonely. That was, until the Kiji named Keep stuck around, keeping her loneliness at bay by living with her like a roommate. She appreciates the few humanoid and beastman visitors she does have greatly, offering services and blessings when ever asked of her.
