As Yile travelled around searching for black holes or dying stars to use for her experiments, she discovered one close to Gaia's planet she could use and stuck around there for a while, harvesting what little energy she could and, as she weakened, got desperate to prove herself. However her methods seemed to be in vain, and she grew frustrated.
With her methods proven vain for long term support she needed to regain her strength and sought out a nearby star to consume. She came across the sun and Gaia's earth, and sensing the other Celestial Dryad observed a moment from a distance before realizing what the other was doing. Yile became jealous, as Gaia had succeeded in doing what Yile wanted to do, using a star instead of the black holes, however.

If Yile could take over this planet and learn these methods and conform them to her already established methods and theories, she could possibly discover something amazing for others of her kind. With this in mind, she approached the Earth. As soon as she neared, Gaia sensed her and became apprehensive and suspicious. She could not leave her core to greet the stranger who entered her planet to step foot on the physical plane, and Yile became envious of everything Gaia had which she did not herself. She commanded Gaia to appear to talk, however only a Kiji appeared, confused about Yile's presense, skittish, and apprehensive of the situation. The Kiji was easily dismissed by Yile, who attempted to demand the planet from Gaia.
Of course Gaia would never agree, and despite being unable to leave the core, the planet rejected Yile and with Gaia's strength and the Kiji's power, they eaily drove Yile back. The black celestial dryad could not overpower Gaia in her state, and retreated to an area untouched by the Kijis to hide and observe. She needed strength, and if Gaia wouldn't share or give her the planet, she had to take it over. Observing species on the planet and how the Kiji were created, she make another species of her own to act as her liasions, to harvest energy, take it, and steal it away to her newly created Abyss to help her gain strength and to weaken the Kiji and Gaia...
And this is where their story started.
