Aloof, somewhat haughty, but attentive, Tristezza rarely has any interest in direct interactions with other living creatures - whether they be spirit, animal, mythical, humanoid, or otherwise. Instead, she prefers to observe and learn from a distance, quietly testing those she encounters against a series of mental checkboxes, determining their role and whether or not she need intervene. Though some might think this solitude would lend to her being a bookworm, and while she will gladly read many a book and tome, she does not actively seek them out, being more opportunistic with the written word.
It can be difficult for others to convince Tristezza to engage with them, with friendly overtures oft being ignored, and challenges to combat being scoffed at. No amount of taunting nor insults reaches her, and she sees such things as 'silly spats' - something far and beyond beneath her. Far from a true coward, however, she will fight with all her being without a moment's hesitation should there be a genuine threat to the world around her - she simply sees no reason to indulge meaningless conflict that serves no true purpose.
Tristezza has taken it upon herself to carefully manipulate the environments around her, yet understands that this is no small undertaking - to that end, though she greatly favours marshlands, she can be found in all manner of environs, learning all she can of the world's ecosystems and their delicate interwoven balances. Whether or not this is in service to Yile is a question even she herself does not yet know the answer to, but neither is it one that occupies much of her thoughts.
The purpose to her life is enough, the question of to what end is not a matter she feels concerns her. Not yet.
