Rebirthing is essentially evolving your spirit. This process increases the multiplier on their stats and resets their level, making their stats easier to increase and also raising the total cap.
Rebirthing also has a chance to affect the traits on the spirit, adding new ones, changing the ones it has, or even removing some. Boosts are also affected, sometimes adding themselves to the geno or increasing in tier.
Requirements and Limits
Cost and Rewards
For a spirit's first time rebirthing it costs 5000 PT, every time after that is 10000 PT. They will also get a special title, Spirit Evolves To..., which gives +2 Strength to their Permastats! Don't forget to attach the PT or the submission will be rejected!
Items and Consumables
You can also attach a max of 9 Rebirthing Essence to increase your odds of things happening. The luck of the character does not impact changes, the Rebirthing Essence is the only thing that matters.
To remove the chance of visual changes occurring, you can attach a Hex Seal to the character (most readily obtained from the Easily Influenced quest, which is combinable with other prompts), but Hex Seals also decreases the chance of non-visual changes.
Cooldowns and Limits
After rebirthing, your character will be put on cooldown based on their stamina, boosts, and attached items. Please note that you can only rebirth your spirit a max of 25 times!

You are also allowed to redesign your spirit after it is rebirthed for free, whether things change or not. If you do not state you are going to be redesigning in the submission it will be assumed you are not. If you do, or if traits change, the character will be unable to be used till they are approved again with the changes in place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I rebirth multiple characters at once?
No, you need a new submission for each character.
What happens if my submission is rejected?
An Admin will state the reason for the rejection in the comments. You can resubmit after things are fixed, unless the rejection is cause you've hit the limit.
Do I lose anything when rebirthing?
Technically no, things can be overwritten but you can always apply applicators or trait edits to change them back if wanted, and the only thing that can be removed are Occult traits which weren't showing on the design anyways.
How do I know if my character is ready to rebirth?
Their description will state their cooldown, and you can check the last time they were rebirthed by checking their bank on the left-hand sidebar and seeing the last time they recieved a Rebirth Token (RT). If they're not on cooldown, they are eligible for a rebirth.
Can I undo a rebirth?
The only way to undo rebirths is by using an Amnesia Tonic, and that will revert more than the rebirths. There is no other way to undo rebirth changes after the submission has been processed.
What if I don't like the changes?
You can always apply applicators or use trait edits to remove/change traits that have changed on the character.
