Changelog January 2022

Posted 3 years and 10 months ago :: Last edited 3 years and 10 months ago by Wolvenhyde

Here is the following list of recent impacting changes to the game:

- New members no longer need invite codes! The site is now open to new members to join whenever they would like! No invite code needed! Please invite your friends to come join us! We'd love to have them here!

- A couple new markings are now on site! These markings are Filter and Facetting; Filter is a marking modifier that's been planned for a while. It is a temporary trait and can be gotten in packs or certain events. Facetting is a unique marking that drops from certain boss battles. Both can be found in the trait encyclopedia.

- New boosts have been added to the game! Thesr boosts are reflective of certain abilities bosses have already been able to possess, but now in a form that Kiji can have them too! These boosts, called the Waning Boosts, are boosts that decrease perma stats (Depending on the type). They have a 40% chance of occuring naturally and do not have tiers, lasting two turns.

- Dens are on site. We finally got dens onto the site and started! Unfortunately we were not able to make them a proper guild-like addition onto the site, but you can still make them, adjust them, and do all the things you could before! However the first free den members could recieve is no longer a thing. You can get a new den or your first den via crafting!

- Den level up stat increases have been changed. It is now a solid number on each stat instead of previously being a percentage or 5 random stats. This increase is based on the level of the Kiji, meaning if you level from level 4-5 you will get +4 to all stats. Levels will also NOT reset when ranking up your den!

- Rebirthing has now been capped to 25 rebirths. This is quite a high number. This should not harm anyone who has already rebirthed their Kiji, or harm people in the future no matter the playstyle they choose.

- Milestones have been increased and added onto. There are now more things you can achieve by reaching stat caps or going beyond!

- Defence vs Strength has been changed in our roller and in the milestones to balance it a bit more. Before, Defense did nothing to help you if your opponants strength was too high, but now there is a bit more of a buffer.

- Perfect Blocks have been added which have a chance to mitigate total damage. This doesn't harm stats, and only causes Kiji with higher defense to have a chance to recieve less damage.

Changelog December 2021

Here is the following list of recent impacting changes to the game:

- In order to summon with a Kiji you need to have at least one art done of them beforehand. This art can be general art or a prompt or activity, but you must have at least one done in order to use it in a summon. It cannot be a headshot and must be at least halfbody and have color, and can't be too rough a sketch (Guidelines showing).
- The Summon Roller has been fixed. This means passing rates are fixed as well as summons should be faster.
- The passing rate for boosts has changed. For summons it has decreased greatly, and the chance of boosts to change in rebirthing has lowered a little.
- You can now sell elemental pack and holiday event uniques. :D
- Slime's effects have been nerfed, they are now: Has 25% chance to add boosts from scrolls and tomes to the geno {Farmer 1-2 increases this to 33% chance, Farmer 3 increases it to 50% chance}. This change was something in the works for a long time, and has already been implemented.
- Minimum prompt literature word count increased. It used to be 200, however for events has increased to 500, unless otherwise stated. Lore lit accompanying art has been increased from 100 to 200 as well.
- PT payout for art and literature has been increased drastically. Submissions will now get a much more decent chunk of PT payout.
- The amount of holiday currency gotten from PT has been decreased due to the increase of PT gain from submissions. Players will NOT be getting less holiday currency, it has only been adjusted to reflect the increase of PT given in submissions. (ie Used to be 4 Holiday Currency and 32 PT, is now 4 Holiday Currency and 256 PT).
- Packs, souls, chests etc will now only drop max of 2 per drop (Not per roll). This means that if you have items that increase loot drops, it won't effect the previously stated.
- People can now loot the boss multiple times with one Kiji if the Kiji is in more than one submission. This is to make it fair for newer players or players with fewer Kiji.
- Boss loot is now automatically dispersed at random at the end of the battle event. Players no longer have to comment to recieve rewards.
- Chests, loot bags, and chests no longer have rarities to them. This is due to the way LK works and rolls items. Instead of rarity chests, the enchanted vouchers come out with different rarities, and can be turned in for their equipment.
- Crafting is now done by the user and not by the Kiji. As such, mysterious goop has been moved to Vault's Haven, and relevant titles and honors have been changed/removed.
- A few other items were changed/adjusted to reflect the changes due to LK restrictions.

Great news!

It’s been a super busy month behind the scenes, but the site is nearly done. There are only a few things left the staff needs to finish up, but we thought they were minor enough that we could finally reopen!

World of Gaia's Lorekeeper site is up and operational, and is now open for every member currently on the Discord server to join! If you’d like an invite link, please DM an admin with a request. You will need to link your deviantArt account upon joining, and if you have anything already owned (imports, genos, etc), it will be attached to your account automagically.

Please note that a bunch of things changed as noted in the Changelog HERE. Though mostly minor, it's a good idea to look them over just in case. We also would like to note because of the changed and updates, we ask you NO LONGER reference the old Weebly site. It will remain up just in case, but admins will no longer be doing things or updating pages on there. We also will not respond to forms on there, we will only respond to requests on the site here.

If you have any questions or comments, as always, feel free to ask us!
