The Tapestry of Souls: A Bonding Ritual
This prompt invites you to forge an unbreakable bond between your character and another, be it Kiji, Tally, familiar, OC, or even a sentient object. This is a non-romantic prompt, focusing on platonic connections like close friendship or family. The prompt is divided into three stages, each with its own challenges and rewards. You must complete all three, the order does not matter, and you can do them all at once or individually.
You can complete this prompt once per bond, allowing you to form multiple meaningful connections throughout your character's journey. Once all three stages are completed, the bond will be formed.
Stage 1: Challenges
Task: Both characters must overcome a shared challenge or obstacle together. This could be a physical test, a puzzle requiring collaboration, or facing a common fear.
Reward: x400 EXP and Lore Drops
Stage 2: Trust
Task: Both characters must participate in a symbolic act of vulnerability. This could involve sharing a deeply personal story, revealing a hidden talent, or offering a treasured possession.
Reward: x6 Random Uncommon-Rare Scrolls and Lore Drops
Stage 3: Connection
Task: Both characters must participate in a ritualistic union. This could involve weaving objects together, combining energies, or sharing a sacred meal.
Reward: x2 Red Ribbon with 5 good enchants and Lore Drops
Rules: The art/lit must be true to lore for all characters in the piece, including background characters. True to lore means not only keeping them in character, but keeping accurate to the world and species in the world. Spinoffs and AUs are not allowed to be submitted here. There is no limit to the number of characters per piece or pieces submitted for lore per week, however only 2 characters per submission will count for this prompt. You cannot submit for other lore prompts alongside, the rest of the characters in the submission would have to be submitted for general lore. Gift art is allowed for this. This prompt is repeatable only for different character combinations.
Requirements: Art submissions must include at least one intermediate background (The other two can be simple), and either be in color (Shading not required) or shaded monochrome. Art must be accompanied by at least 200 word literature each and all characters must be at least 50% showing. Literature only must be at least 500 words for each step, and all literatures must show enough detail in the writing about the scene.
