Skies darken and the air burns...
Temperatures are rising in what appears to be a trail across the globe, throwing ecosystems off balance in its wake. Alarmed, Gaia sends her Kijiakaiaku forth to investigate this new rising threat, and Yile, not one to sit idly by, sends her Subtalleons out to learn of what she believes may be a new weapon Gaia is preparing. Should either side meet resistance in their investigations, they have been instructed to handle it accordingly.

The Great Phoenix has arisen! This fiery legend is rampaging due to the Kraken having suddenly vanished, causing chaos in its wake! Given the nature of the Phoenix, this promises to be a difficult battle. Follow the prompts, get past the creatures to make your way to the boss, and deal with them for some sweet limited time rewards!

All who participate in this event will have the chance get unique titles and honors for their spirits, depending on their role in the battle.
Everyone who claims rewards will also get loot from the boss drops, and the owners of the participating characters will also get a special background.
All items will be given out at random, 1 per spirit per art who participates in the boss battle looting, by the admins once the battle ends. Your spirit is eligible for looting if they have participated in the battle at least once.
This event ends when the boss is defeated, or if no one participates within the first two weeks (or a week after the most recent submission).
