Despite questioning everything else Firth was created for, he has come to consider Barachois a true friend. Though he sometimes finds her somewhat overbearing, he appreciates that she makes the effort to at least try to give him space. A try that often succeeds, albeit if for shorter periods than he might prefer. Firth is glad that Barachois is always there for when he needs company, and grateful that she does not dismiss his concerns and misgivings.

While the entire reason for their first meeting may have been for Firth to serve her in every capacity, Barachois has slowly developed a genuine, cherished friendship with the patient miniature subtalleon. Barachois considers Firth an invaluable confidant and leans heavily on him for both rational counsel and emotional support. She prays her issues will not ruin the sole thing she's certain of in the world.
