Traits

Masking is a facial marking that puts a splash of color on the face. It can be around the eyes, lips, down the nose, or covering the whole face. It must not look like face paint.

This marking is Dominant and doesn't need to pass from both parents to show. (FA/Fa/fa)

Mealy is a pangare-like marking that puts a soft or blended edge marking on the underside and legs. This marking can be lighter or darker than the base and of similar hue. It can also resemble the markings of Dobermann and can be on the face.

This marking is Dominant and doesn't need to pass from both parents to show. (ML/Ml/ml)

A patch or patches of color of complimentary colors blended together, similar to merle. Can be subtle or stark. Cannot resemble Splotches or Paint.

This marking has a super version and must show excessively if passed from both parents. (SMO/SMo/Smo)

A thick lighter colored stripe or several along the back and/or upper sides resembling the markings on skunks or badgers. Cannot resemble a minimal blanket.

Horizontal or vertical barring resembling the broken spotty stripes on certain fish, sharks, or baby boars and tapirs. Can also resemble bird barring but cannot appear like Brindle or Stripes.

A fade either on the coat itself or affecting a single marking, allowing an ombre affect of 2-3 tones. 

This marking is Recessive and will only show if passed from both parents. (NGR/NGr/Ngr)
If only passed from one parent it will be carried but not be allowed to show. (nGr/ngr)

Can be shown either as dense ticking along the coat or not so subtle nuances of another color fading in uneven patches along the edged of the coat. Can have subtle shaping to it to appear similar to markings such as Rabicano or Bay.

Rosettes are a rose-shaped or clustered arrangement of spots or leaf shapes, like those of various leopards and domestic cats. The inner color is optional and can have a gradient.

Lacing is a scale-like marking similar to that of the pattern on laced wyandotte chickens. It is allowed to be just the outer scales, the inner shapes, or both.

This marking is Recessive and will only show if passed from both parents. (NLC/NLc/Nlc)
If only passed from one parent it will be carried but not be allowed to show. (nLc/nlc)

A hard edged marking that adds a dark stripe down the back, additionally it may also include barring on the legs, shoulder stripes, or other minor features of traditional dun markings.

A few or a lot of spots on the coat, large or small, hard or soft edging, any color that compliments the base well. Cannot resemble splotches or Paint.

Varigated markings resembling marbled marking on horses or cats. Can be varying colors that compliment the coat.

Soft edged desaturated lighter dappling markings, generally along the back and/or sides.

This marking is Dominant and doesn't need to pass from both parents to show. (DA/Da/da)

Banded is a marking that puts an unbreaking band or several of a single color around the centaurian. These bands can have a ring of color on the outside of each as well (Like clownfish).

Brindled is a thin striping marking that can be seen in horses and dogs. It can be one or multiple colors that are different from the base.

Blanket is a solid marking overtop the Centaurian that generally has a harder edge and complements the base.

Varnished is a sheen much like wood polish that puts a brighter colored hue along the body. Can be a very different color than the base. Can appear as non subtle nuances over the coat.

Frosted is very small gathered fleckings of a lighter or darker color. Cannot be expansive or resemble Snowflake (Think of it as freckles).

A rainbow or multicolored sheen throughout the coat or over the whole body.

This marking is Recessive and will only show if passed from both parents. (NIR/NIr/Nir)

Streaks of color throughout the coat. Can be thin or thick, large or small, soft or hard edged. Can't replicate banded or brindle.
