Masking is a facial marking that puts a splash of color on the face. It can be around the eyes, lips, down the nose, or covering the whole face. It must not look like face paint.

Mealy (C)

Mealy is a pangare-like marking that puts a soft or blended edge marking on the underside and legs. This marking can be lighter or darker than the base and of similar hue. It can also resemble the markings of Dobermann and can be on the face.

Mottled (C)

A patch or patches of color of complimentary colors blended together, similar to merle. Can be subtle or stark. Cannot resemble Splotches or Paint.

Streaked (C)

A thick lighter colored stripe or several along the back and/or upper sides resembling the markings on skunks or badgers. Cannot resemble a minimal blanket.

Horizontal or vertical barring resembling the broken spotty stripes on certain fish, sharks, or baby boars and tapirs. Can also resemble bird barring but cannot appear like Brindle or Stripes.

Agouti (C)

Can be shown either as dense ticking along the coat or not so subtle nuances of another color fading in uneven patches along the edged of the coat. Can have subtle shaping to it to appear similar to markings such as Rabicano or Bay.

Rosettes (C)

Rosettes are a rose-shaped or clustered arrangement of spots or leaf shapes, like those of various leopards and domestic cats. The inner color is optional and can have a gradient.

Lacing is a scale-like marking similar to that of the pattern on laced wyandotte chickens. It is allowed to be just the outer scales, the inner shapes, or both.

A hard edged marking that adds a dark stripe down the back, additionally it may also include barring on the legs, shoulder stripes, or other minor features of traditional dun markings.

Banded is a marking that puts an unbreaking band or several of a single color around the centaurian. These bands can have a ring of color on the outside of each as well (Like clownfish).
